After decades involved with tourism, Ingvar Jóhannesson and Carina Ek, local husband and wife and parents of four, decided on establishing their own guesthouse.

After purchasing, restoring and renovating , they opened Guesthouse Carina in july 2015.

Guesthouse Carina is located at the entry of the town Vík, beside the road nr.1 overlooking the town and the ocean.

It opened early summer 2015 after vast renovations, the two story estate built back in 1956 now hosts Guesthouse Carina, offering bed and breakfast including free WiFi. 10 newly stated, bright and comfortable rooms of various size and 24 hour reception.

Guesthouse Carina offers lodging in 10 rooms on 2 floors.
There are shared WC (2) and shared bathroom/ WC (3) in the building
Breakfast buffet is served 8-10 every morning.
