Volcano Hotel is one of the smallest country hotels in Iceland and one might describe it as a boutique hotel or a very modern B&B. The hotel is located at the southernmost tip of Iceland, in the beautiful surroundings of Mýrdalur valley, just beneath the glacier volcano Katla, in Mýrdalsjökull glacier.

Volcano Hotel is in only 170 km distance from the capital of Iceland, Reykjavík. It is about 12 km from Vík.
