The houses Engigardur cottage and Hjalli cottage are a charming townhouse built in the traditional style of Icelandic farm houses. Hjalli cottage was originally built in 1912 and rebuilt in 2014. Engigarður cottage was originally built in 1925 and rebuilt around 1990. Both houses have all facilities for a great holiday and have kept the old charm. They are nestled under the church behind the house Háigardur. In a short walking distance one can visit the black sand beach and Reynisdrangar, restaurants, shop and the swimming pool.
Engigardur has two small bedrooms upstairs, downstairs is an open space well equipped kitchen, dining area and living room with a TV, small bathroom with a shower, washing machine and complimentary high speed WIFI.
Hjalli has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, one on each floor, open space well equipped kitchen, living room and a dining area, TV and DVD, washing machine and complimentary high speed WIFI. Hjalli is decorated with antique things and memorabilia from previous owners.
